What You'll Do
- Translate and localize content between Wolof and English
- Edit and proofread Wolof-language materials for accuracy, clarity, and cultural appropriateness
- Create original written content in Wolof according to project specifications
- Review linguistic outputs and identify language quality improvements
- Provide structured feedback to support AI language model development
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure consistency and accuracy
- Collaborate with linguists, project stakeholders, and technical teams on language-related tasks
- Resolve linguistic queries through clear written and verbal communication
- Maintain adherence to project guidelines, style standards, and deadlines
- Support the development and refinement of multilingual training datasets
Requirements
- Native or near-native proficiency in Wolof
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- Proven experience in translation, localization, editing, or content writing involving Wolof
- Deep understanding of Wolof idioms, cultural context, and linguistic nuances
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong written communication skills
