Dermatologist – Medical Image Annotation for AI (Remote)

About the Role
We are inviting experienced Dermatology Doctors to contribute their clinical expertise to large-scale dermatology image annotation projects supporting advanced AI systems. In this role, you will review dermatology images, identify skin conditions, and label key dermatological attributes according to strict medical guidelines. The work focuses on producing accurate, consistent annotations that help train and evaluate AI models used in dermatological analysis and healthcare research. This remote engagement is ideal for dermatologists who are detail-oriented and comfortable applying clinical judgment to structured medical datasets.
What You'll Do
- Review and analyze dermatology images to identify skin conditions and dermatological features
- Label dermatological attributes and diagnoses according to defined medical annotation standards
- Draw precise bounding boxes around lesions and relevant skin features
- Ensure correct diagnosis prioritization and attribute tagging within each annotation task
- Maintain high accuracy and consistency across large volumes of dermatology images
- Follow strict medical annotation guidelines and quality standards
- Collaborate with research teams to maintain data quality and improve annotation workflows
Requirements
- MD or DNB in Dermatology
- Minimum 5 years of post-residency clinical dermatology experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in clinical interpretation
- Ability to identify dermatological features and conditions from medical images
- Comfort working with sensitive or graphic dermatology images
- Ability to follow structured medical annotation guidelines precisely
- Consistent productivity and high-quality output in a remote work environment
