About the Role
We are inviting experienced Certified Financial Planners® and Personal Financial Advisors to contribute their expertise to an advanced AI project focused on improving financial guidance for everyday households. In this role, you will review realistic financial planning scenarios and evaluate AI-generated advice to ensure it reflects practical, responsible, and client-centered decision-making. This remote engagement is ideal for advisors who have spent years helping clients navigate budgeting, debt management, retirement planning, and long-term financial tradeoffs, and who can translate that real-world judgment into structured insights that improve financial planning tools.
What You'll Do
- Review realistic financial planning scenarios based on everyday household situations such as budgeting, debt payoff, retirement planning, and emergency savings
- Evaluate AI-generated financial advice for clarity, suitability, and practicality for mainstream and mass-affluent households
- Describe how advisory conversations should unfold, including goal prioritization and financial tradeoff discussions
- Document common rules-of-thumb and decision frameworks used when advising real clients
- Provide structured written feedback to improve AI explanations and next-step recommendations
- Identify compliance considerations and fiduciary boundaries in financial guidance
- Highlight when financial issues require referral to other professionals such as CPAs, attorneys, or insurance specialists
Requirements
- Several years of client-facing experience as a Financial Planner, Financial Advisor, or Personal Financial Consultant
- Strong expertise in budgeting, cash-flow planning, debt management, retirement planning, and household financial strategy
- CFP® certification strongly preferred, though equivalent credentials with relevant advisory experience may be considered
- Ability to clearly explain financial concepts and tradeoffs in simple, practical language
- Strong written communication skills and ability to provide structured analytical feedback
- High integrity and strong commitment to fiduciary and compliance standards
- Comfort working independently in a remote environment while managing part-time project commitments
