Technical Recruiter & Interviewer – AI Research Project
About the Role
We are inviting experienced interviewers, recruiters, and technical-vetting professionals to support a high-priority expert evaluation initiative for a frontier AI research project.
This role is focused on conducting structured interviews with shortlisted technical professionals and providing clear, evidence-based assessments of their technical depth, communication, availability, and overall fit for the engagement.
Role Details
• Remote contract opportunity
• Approximately 10 hours per week
• Structured interviews of approximately 20 minutes each
• Weekday business-hours availability required
• Flexible remote working environment
Contract & Payment Terms
• Independent contractor engagement
• Fully remote work
• Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project requirements and performance
• Work will not involve access to confidential or proprietary information from your current or previous employers
• Payments are made weekly via Stripe or Wise based on services rendered

What You'll Do
- What You’ll Do
- • Conduct approximately 20-minute structured interviews with shortlisted technical experts
- • Evaluate candidates against a provided rubric covering technical depth, communication, and AI-evaluation fit
- • Assess senior engineering professionals across areas such as GPU kernel development, security and vulnerability research, and ML compiler/accelerator domains
- • Confirm candidate availability, work authorization, and exclusivity requirements
- • Identify and flag relevant concerns or potential red flags
- • Categorize candidates as advance, hold, or pass based on the evaluation criteria
- • Prepare concise, evidence-based interview summaries for the program team
- • Coordinate interviews during weekday business hours
Requirements
- What We’re Looking For
- • Previous experience in recruiting, interviewing, technical screening, or expert vetting
- • Comfortable conducting structured conversations with senior technical professionals
- • Strong communication skills and sound professional judgment
- • Ability to follow an interview rubric consistently
- • Able to assess candidates objectively and summarize findings clearly
- • Strong time-management skills and ability to keep interviews on schedule
- • Availability during weekday business hours
- • Ability to reliably commit approximately 10 hours per week
- • Comfortable working fully remotely
