About the Role
A structured evaluation initiative focused on using expert CAD and manufacturing knowledge to assess and improve AI-generated content, recommendations, and workflows.
This opportunity is ideal for CAD professionals with hands-on experience who can evaluate technical outputs with precision, communicate detailed feedback clearly, and apply practical manufacturing judgment.
The work involves reviewing AI-generated manufacturing content, assessing process accuracy and efficiency, and developing evaluation rubrics where technical correctness and real-world applicability are critical.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate AI-generated content and recommendations related to CAD and manufacturing workflows.
- Provide expert feedback on manufacturing processes and techniques.
- Review and refine AI outputs using practical CAD, CAM, and CNC knowledge.
- Develop and validate rubrics for assessing manufacturing process accuracy and efficiency.
- Identify technical issues and provide clear, structured feedback.
- Assess workflows for practical feasibility and manufacturing effectiveness.
Requirements
- Hands-on professional experience with at least one CAD platform such as AutoCAD, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Onshape, Inventor, CATIA, Creo, or FreeCAD.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate technical content with high attention to detail.
- Practical understanding of CAD-based design and manufacturing workflows.
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
- Availability for approximately 15–20 hours per week with flexible scheduling.
- Preferred: Experience with Autodesk tools, particularly Fusion 360 or AutoCAD.
- Preferred: Background in CAM, CNC machining, or digital manufacturing.
- Preferred: Python proficiency.
- Preferred: Familiarity with AI tools, LLMs, generative design, or AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Preferred: Experience developing or applying technical evaluation rubrics.
