The work involves reviewing financial planning scenarios, evaluating AI-generated guidance, documenting advisory approaches, and identifying compliance considerations. Success requires sound professional judgment, structured thinking, and the ability to communicate financial concepts in clear, practical language.
What You'll Do
- Review financial planning scenarios involving budgeting, debt management, emergency savings, retirement planning, and related topics
- Evaluate AI-generated financial guidance for suitability, clarity, and practical application
- Document advisory frameworks used to assess client goals, priorities, and financial tradeoffs
- Explain decision-making methodologies for savings, investing, debt repayment, and cash-flow management
- Provide written feedback to improve financial explanations and recommendations
- Assess risk, compliance, and scope-of-practice considerations within financial planning discussions
- Identify situations requiring referral to specialized professionals such as tax, legal, or insurance experts
- Contribute expertise that enhances AI reasoning and financial planning accuracy
- Support the development of consistent evaluation standards and financial planning workflows
Requirements
- Several years of client-facing experience in financial planning, financial advisory, or personal financial consulting roles
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, cash-flow planning, debt management, retirement planning, education savings, and risk management
- CFP® certification preferred, or CFP examination completion with relevant professional experience
- Alternative financial planning credentials may be considered when supported by substantial practical experience
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to explain financial concepts clearly to non-experts
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated commitment to fiduciary principles and professional ethics
- Knowledge of financial planning compliance considerations and professional standards
- Proven financial problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Experience working with structured planning processes, frameworks, or advisory methodologies
- Ability to evaluate financial tradeoffs and provide practical recommendations
- Must be authorized to work within the United States
- Preferred: Experience providing holistic financial coaching
- Preferred: Experience mentoring advisors or financial professionals
- Preferred: Experience developing planning playbooks, workflows, checklists, or operational processes
- Preferred: Familiarity with AI-assisted workflows, ChatGPT, or technology-enabled evaluation environments
