US Business Owner – Google Chat Usage Research

About the Role
A structured user research initiative is evaluating how US-based businesses use Google Chat for internal communication and collaboration. The project requires verified business owners or administrators with established organizational use of the platform.
This opportunity is ideal for active business owners or administrators who regularly use Google Chat with employees and can meet defined usage and account-ownership criteria. Participants must be US-based and able to communicate in English.
The work involves participating in a research process based on existing Google Chat usage within an established business environment. Eligibility depends on business profile ownership, team size, message history, and platform activity levels.
What You'll Do
- Participate in a structured business technology research study
- Verify ownership or administrative control of an active Google Business Profile
- Demonstrate regular organizational use of Google Chat
- Provide information required to validate business and platform eligibility
- Participate remotely according to the project schedule and research requirements
Requirements
- Be based in the United States
- Communicate fluently in English
- Be an active owner or administrator of a verified Google Business Profile
- Have at least 10 employees actively using Google Chat
- Have at least 500 internal Google Chat messages across direct messages and Spaces
- Have less than 10% of qualifying messages originating from the most recent month
- Have established business use of Google Chat rather than personal-only usage
- Be able to participate remotely as an independent contractor
- Preferred: Regular experience managing internal communication through Google Workspace
- Preferred: Administrative responsibility for business collaboration tools or workplace technology
