Senior UX/UI and Website Designer

The work involves creating, reviewing, and evaluating website design examples and digital experiences while helping improve AI understanding of design quality, usability, and contemporary web practices. What You'll Do
- Develop and evaluate website design examples across diverse industries and use cases
- Assess UX/UI quality, usability, accessibility, and visual design standards
- Review AI-generated website concepts, layouts, and user experience recommendations
- Analyze responsive design approaches and modern design system implementations
- Create reference materials demonstrating best practices in digital experience design
- Evaluate interactive, editorial, marketing, and product-focused web experiences
- Provide structured feedback to improve AI-generated design outputs
- Apply contemporary web design standards and user-centered design principles
- Collaborate within project workflows to maintain consistency and quality across deliverables
Requirements
- Professional experience in website design, UX/UI design, or digital product design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality website and digital experience work
- Expertise in responsive web design and modern user experience principles
- Ability to evaluate visual design quality, usability, and interaction design
- Experience working with design systems, wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs
- Strong understanding of web accessibility and user-centered design methodologies
- Excellent visual communication and design critique skills
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote, asynchronous environment
- Availability for up to 40 hours per week
- Must be based in the United Kingdom with legal authorization to work in the UK
- Experience designing websites for technology companies, global brands, startups, or cultural organizations preferred
- Experience within established digital design studios, agencies, or product-focused design teams preferred
- Familiarity with modern design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, or equivalent platforms preferred
- Knowledge of AI-assisted design workflows and structured evaluation methodologies preferred
- Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams including developers, researchers, and product stakeholders preferred
