Senior UX/UI and Digital Experience Designer

What You'll Do
- Evaluate website designs against established usability and visual design standards
- Review UX/UI solutions for effectiveness, clarity, and user experience quality
- Assess digital products, marketing websites, and editorial platforms
- Analyze information architecture, navigation, and user flows
- Review responsive design implementations across devices and screen sizes
- Evaluate design systems and component consistency
- Assess visual hierarchy, typography, layout, and interaction design
- Create and review website design examples for AI evaluation initiatives
- Identify strengths, weaknesses, and improvement opportunities within digital experiences
- Produce structured written assessments supporting design evaluations
- Apply contemporary web design principles and best practices consistently
- Contribute expert feedback to support AI training and evaluation projects
Requirements
- Based in the United Kingdom with legal authorization to work in the United Kingdom
- Professional experience in website design, UX/UI design, or digital product design
- Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality website and digital experience projects
- Expertise in responsive web design and modern design systems
- Experience designing marketing websites, editorial platforms, or web-based products
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles
- Knowledge of interaction design, accessibility, and usability best practices
- Ability to critically evaluate visual design quality and user experience effectiveness
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in professional design environments
- Strong visual design skills, including typography, layout, color, and hierarchy
- Excellent written communication and design rationale documentation skills
- Attention to detail and consistent design judgment
- Ability to work independently in a remote contract environment
- Availability to contribute up to 40 hours per week preferred
- Experience working with leading digital design studios, agencies, or product organizations preferred
- Experience with design systems and scalable digital product ecosystems preferred
- Familiarity with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern design workflows preferred
- Prior involvement in AI training, evaluation, research, or data-quality projects preferred
- Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar technologies preferred
- Experience evaluating production-ready digital experiences preferred
- Ability to receive payments through supported international payment platforms preferred
