The work involves producing and evaluating legal content, identifying errors and ambiguities, and providing structured feedback in a remote, multidisciplinary project environment. Precision, consistency, and the ability to apply rigorous legal standards are critical.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive legal analysis across a range of U.S. law topics.
- Perform in-depth legal research using authoritative and current legal sources.
- Draft, review, and edit legal memoranda, opinions, contracts, and related materials.
- Evaluate legal content for accuracy, clarity, completeness, and sound reasoning.
- Provide structured feedback on legal materials using defined quality standards.
- Identify errors, inconsistencies, ambiguities, and substantive issues in legal content.
- Apply established evaluation criteria and quality-assurance processes to legal materials.
- Collaborate remotely with legal and multidisciplinary project contributors.
- Resolve complex legal scenarios through careful analysis and written reasoning.
- Maintain consistently high standards of precision and legal accuracy across deliverables.
Requirements
- Active U.S. license to practice law.
- Substantial experience at one or more top-tier U.S. law firms, including Vault Law 100 experience.
- Strong expertise in Litigation, Corporate, M&A, or a closely related practice area.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct sophisticated legal analysis and research.
- Strong legal drafting, editing, and content-review skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate legal materials for accuracy, reasoning, clarity, and consistency.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to precision.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience with quality assurance, rubric-based evaluation, or structured review of legal documents is preferred.
- Strong academic credentials and exposure to complex, high-stakes legal matters are preferred.
