What You'll Do
- Develop high-quality software engineering examples across languages including Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, and TypeScript
- Design reproducible coding environments and reference implementations for software problem-solving tasks
- Analyze and resolve complex software defects and performance bottlenecks
- Implement scalable features following software engineering best practices
- Refactor existing codebases to improve reliability, maintainability, and efficiency
- Document technical approaches, debugging processes, and implementation decisions
- Review and validate software solutions for correctness, clarity, and quality
Requirements
- Strong programming experience in at least one of the following: Python, Java, Rust, Go, C++, or TypeScript
- Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and core software engineering principles
- Proven ability to debug complex systems and identify root causes of technical issues
- Experience improving, refactoring, or maintaining large-scale codebases
- Ability to create clean, reliable, and well-documented technical solutions
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail when evaluating software quality
- Availability to contribute approximately 15 hours per week in a remote contract environment
- Ability to independently manage assigned technical tasks and meet project requirements
- Preferred qualifications include experience with AI-related engineering projects, machine learning systems, developer tooling, or advanced software evaluation workflows
