Senior Producer – Production Management & Evaluation
About the Role
A structured remote opportunity for experienced production professionals to apply real-world film, television, digital, or live-event expertise to the design and evaluation of realistic production-management scenarios. The work focuses on budgets, scheduling, documentation, vendor coordination, and complex production decisions.
This opportunity is ideal for producers with substantial hands-on experience managing production constraints and creating accurate industry documentation. Strong analytical judgment, written communication, and familiarity with real production workflows are essential.
The work involves constructing authentic production scenarios and artifacts, defining correct outcomes across multiple constraints, and developing detailed evaluation criteria, where practical industry knowledge and precise decision-making are critical.
What You'll Do
- Design realistic production-management scenarios involving budgets, schedules, vendors, and crew
- Create and curate production artifacts such as budgets, contracts, call sheets, delivery schedules, and crew assignments
- Analyze production scenarios across time, cost, staffing, and resource constraints
- Define accurate solutions and decisions for complex production situations
- Develop detailed multi-criteria rubrics for evaluating production decisions and deliverables
- Document production processes and workflows in clear, precise English
- Review and refine evaluation tasks for industry accuracy and consistency
- Identify real-world production challenges and incorporate them into assessment scenarios
- Collaborate asynchronously on task design and quality improvements
- Apply current production practices to maintain realistic and rigorous evaluation standards
Requirements
- 5+ years of credited experience in film, television, digital, or live-event production
- Demonstrated expertise in production management and coordination
- Hands-on experience managing or reconciling production budgets
- Experience preparing or managing call sheets, contracts, schedules, or similar production documentation
- Proven ability to coordinate vendors and crew under time, cost, and resource constraints
- Strong analytical judgment when evaluating competing production requirements
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create precise production documentation and technical materials
- Experience developing or evaluating multi-criteria rubrics or assessment frameworks preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
- Comfort contributing a defined volume of completed evaluation tasks within project requirements preferred
