Senior Credit Analysis Expert – Remote

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with a strong background in credit markets, private credit, leveraged finance, restructuring, distressed debt, or related disciplines. Candidates should be comfortable applying technical judgment to complex financial scenarios and producing high-quality analytical outputs independently.
The work involves reviewing credit-related data, performing financial assessments, evaluating risk factors, and supporting research activities where accuracy, domain expertise, and analytical rigor are critical to success.
What You'll Do
- Analyze creditworthiness using financial and operational data
- Build and review credit and financial models
- Evaluate cash flow performance and liquidity positions
- Assess credit ratings and related risk factors
- Review loan agreements and covenant structures
- Conduct liquidation and recovery analyses for distressed situations
- Analyze structured credit products and securitization frameworks
- Interpret complex financial information and provide analytical insights
- Deliver accurate work within project timelines
- Collaborate effectively in a remote project environment
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in credit-related roles
- Background in credit hedge funds, private credit, leveraged finance, restructuring advisory, distressed debt, or similar sectors
- Experience with credit and financial modeling
- Knowledge of credit rating methodologies and risk assessment
- Strong understanding of cash flow and liquidity analysis
- Ability to evaluate loan covenants and credit agreements
- Experience performing liquidation and recovery analysis
- Familiarity with structured credit and securitization analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
- Availability to commit at least 10 hours per week
- Eligible to work as an independent contractor
- Located in the U.S., UK, Canada, Europe, or Australia
- Preferred: Experience supporting research, data analysis, or AI-related projects
- Preferred: Advanced financial analysis and reporting capabilities
- Preferred: Familiarity with AI-assisted research tools and productivity platforms such as ChatGPT or similar technologies
