About the Role

A high-impact AI research initiative is seeking experienced private equity professionals to contribute domain expertise to the development and evaluation of advanced AI systems. This project supports the creation of next-generation models capable of understanding complex investment and financial analysis workflows.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with professional experience in private equity who can apply practical knowledge across investment evaluation, financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction-related documentation. Candidates should be comfortable working independently in a remote environment and contributing on a flexible schedule.

The work involves reviewing, analyzing, and generating finance-related content and insights where accuracy, analytical rigor, and strong industry knowledge are critical to success. High-quality contributions may lead to participation in future engagements within similar projects.

What You'll Do

  • Perform private equity-related financial analysis and research tasks
  • Develop and review financial models to support investment assessments
  • Conduct market sizing and total addressable market (TAM) analyses
  • Prepare investment summaries, analytical reports, and evaluation memos
  • Review and contribute to due diligence materials and transaction documentation
  • Analyze confidential information memorandums (CIMs) and related investment materials
  • Support deal sourcing and opportunity evaluation activities
  • Provide subject matter expertise for AI training, testing, and validation workflows
  • Deliver accurate and well-structured outputs within project timelines

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in private equity
  • Experience with financial modeling and investment analysis
  • Knowledge of market sizing and TAM assessment methodologies
  • Experience preparing investment memorandums, summaries, or research reports
  • Familiarity with due diligence processes and transaction documentation
  • Ability to review legal, NDA, or investment-related documents
  • Understanding of deal sourcing and investment pipeline activities
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a remote project environment
  • Availability to commit a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • Ability to participate in an engagement lasting at least four weeks
  • Excellent written communication and documentation skills
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet-based financial analysis tools
  • Preferred: Experience at leading private equity firms
  • Preferred: Experience supporting AI-assisted research workflows
  • Preferred: Familiarity with ChatGPT or similar AI productivity tools
  • Must be authorized to work as an independent contractor in an eligible location listed above
