Parent–Child Research Study Participant – Youth Digital Well-being
About the Role
A structured academic research initiative examines how smartphones and digital technologies influence children's well-being and family experiences. The study involves remote participation by a parent or legal guardian and one eligible child, contributing information through surveys and brief follow-up check-ins.
This opportunity is intended for US-based parents or legal guardians with a child aged 9–13 who has their own smartphone with an active SIM card and working phone number. Both the adult and child must be willing to participate together and complete the required study activities. Only one child per household may participate.
The work involves completing short online surveys, responding to occasional text-message check-ins, and installing a designated parental-control application on the child's smartphone for the study period. Participation lasts approximately eight weeks, with limited active time required. Consistent participation, accurate responses, and adherence to study instructions are essential.
