What You'll Do
- Review mechanical engineering problems, solutions, and technical explanations for accuracy and completeness
- Evaluate methodologies, calculations, and engineering reasoning for technical correctness
- Identify errors, ambiguities, inconsistencies, and gaps in technical content
- Provide clear, evidence-based feedback and corrective recommendations
- Apply standardized evaluation criteria across multiple engineering subject areas
- Assess content involving statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and related disciplines
- Validate engineering solutions against established technical principles and best practices
- Document review findings and maintain consistency in quality assessments
- Calibrate evaluations against defined quality benchmarks and review standards
- Support continuous improvement of technical content through constructive feedback
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field
- Strong understanding of core mechanical engineering principles
- Ability to solve engineering problems using first-principles reasoning
- Knowledge of statics, dynamics, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities
- Exceptional attention to detail and technical accuracy
- Ability to identify subtle errors in engineering calculations and reasoning
- Clear written communication skills for documenting technical feedback
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Commitment to applying structured evaluation standards consistently
- Master’s degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Experience in technical review, grading, tutoring, or quality assurance preferred
- Experience evaluating engineering documentation or educational materials preferred
- Familiarity with AI-assisted technical workflows or content evaluation environments preferred
