Hematology & Oncology AI Clinical Reviewer
About the Role
A specialized healthcare AI initiative is seeking Hematology and Oncology professionals to support the development and evaluation of advanced clinical reasoning systems. The work focuses on improving how AI models interpret oncology and hematologic care pathways, apply evidence-based decision-making, and generate clinically accurate recommendations across complex patient scenarios.
This opportunity is ideal for Medical Oncology, Hematology, Surgical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, and Pediatric Hematology/Oncology professionals who are experienced in cancer care, treatment planning, and multidisciplinary clinical decision-making. Final-year fellows with strong clinical foundations and guideline familiarity are also well suited for the role.
The work involves building realistic clinical case scenarios, assessing AI-generated medical outputs, and producing high-quality reference responses across oncology workflows where staging accuracy, regimen selection, toxicity management, and evidence-based interpretation are critical.
What You'll Do
- Design realistic Hematology and Oncology clinical scenarios and evaluation prompts
- Develop attending-level reference responses for oncology and hematologic cases
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs using structured scoring and clinical reasoning frameworks
- Assess treatment sequencing, toxicity management, staging logic, and guideline adherence
- Provide detailed written feedback to improve model behavior and clinical accuracy
- Review responses involving complex cancer care and hematologic management pathways
- Participate in onboarding sessions and specialty calibration discussions
- Work independently within asynchronous remote project environments
- Maintain high standards for evidence-based clinical reasoning and medical precision
Requirements
- Board-certified physician in Hematology, Oncology, or related specialty with active unrestricted medical license, OR
- Final-year fellow with board certification/eligibility in primary specialty and active unrestricted license
- Strong expertise in cancer care, hematologic disorders, and evidence-based treatment planning
- Ability to evaluate complex clinical reasoning objectively and consistently
- Experience with staging systems, regimen selection, toxicity management, and guideline interpretation
- Strong written communication and analytical review skills
- Comfort working independently in a fully remote asynchronous environment
- Availability for approximately 20 hours per week or more depending on project demand
- Must be located in the United States or Canada
- Preferred: Experience reviewing clinical content, oncology education materials, or healthcare AI outputs
- Preferred: Familiarity with structured evaluation rubrics and AI-assisted workflows such as ChatGPT or related systems
