About the Role
A structured AI evaluation initiative focused on improving text quality, editorial accuracy, and the effectiveness of training datasets through expert human review.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong English-language, writing, editing, or content-assessment expertise who can distinguish nuanced differences in clarity, quality, tone, and authenticity. Prior AI experience is not required.
The work involves evaluating and improving written content, identifying low-quality or artificial AI-generated text, and producing actionable editorial feedback. Consistency, attention to detail, and reliable delivery within defined timelines are critical.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate written content for clarity, coherence, accuracy, and overall quality.
- Assess writing against defined project standards and evaluation criteria.
- Identify and annotate low-quality or artificially generated text.
- Edit documents for grammar, syntax, structure, tone, and readability.
- Provide specific, constructive feedback to improve written content.
- Produce written analyses and recommendations for AI training datasets.
- Collaborate remotely with project coordinators and other specialists.
- Complete assigned evaluations consistently within project timelines.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in writing, editing, proofreading, content evaluation, or related work.
- Native-level or equivalent professional proficiency in English.
- Strong command of English grammar, syntax, structure, tone, and usage.
- Ability to identify subtle differences between high-quality human writing and AI-generated content.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency when evaluating text.
- Ability to provide clear, constructive, and actionable feedback.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote project environment.
- Reliable availability during Australia / Asia Pacific time zones.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, or a related field, or relevant experience teaching English preferred.
- Prior experience with content quality assurance, editorial review, or text-assessment projects preferred.
