About the Role

A structured legal support initiative focused on commercial real estate and energy infrastructure is seeking experienced professionals to contribute domain expertise within a document-intensive environment. The work centers on reviewing and structuring complex land and site control records to support high-accuracy outputs.

This opportunity is ideal for individuals with strong experience in real estate law, land documentation, or infrastructure-related legal processes who can operate independently while maintaining high precision. Prior exposure to energy or transmission projects is particularly relevant.

The work involves reviewing, analyzing, and organizing legal documentation related to land use and control, where attention to detail and the ability to interpret legal language accurately are critical for success.

What You'll Do

  • Review deeds, ground leases, easements, and rights-of-way agreements for key legal terms
  • Evaluate site control documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and execution issues across document sets
  • Structure and standardize findings for downstream legal review
  • Process and annotate real estate and land-related documents within due diligence workflows
  • Flag non-compliant or incomplete filings based on regulatory and project criteria
  • Collaborate with senior reviewers to resolve complex documentation issues

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in paralegal work or legal document review within real estate, energy, or infrastructure
  • Proven experience reviewing land control instruments including deeds, easements, and rights-of-way
  • Strong ability to interpret legal language related to term, exclusivity, and conveyance
  • High attention to detail with structured documentation and reporting skills

  • Experience with utility-scale energy or transmission projects (preferred)
  • Familiarity with PJM interconnection or site control requirements (preferred)
  • Experience working on East Coast-based legal or infrastructure projects (preferred)
