Cardiology Clinical AI Evaluation Specialist (Contract, Remote)
About the Role
A high-impact clinical AI development initiative is engaging experienced cardiology professionals to contribute to the creation and evaluation of advanced medical reasoning systems. The work focuses on translating real-world cardiovascular practice into structured clinical scenarios that help improve evidence-based decision-making in AI systems.
This opportunity is best suited for board-certified or board-eligible cardiology professionals with strong grounding in guideline-based care and subspecialty expertise across areas such as electrophysiology, heart failure, interventional cardiology, imaging, and congenital heart disease. Final-year fellows and experienced attendings are also appropriate fits depending on scope and experience.
The work involves designing clinical vignettes, producing reference-standard clinical responses, and critically evaluating AI-generated outputs against structured medical rubrics, where clinical accuracy and guideline concordance are essential.
What You'll Do
- Design realistic cardiology clinical scenarios across acute and chronic care settings
- Develop expert-level reference responses aligned with evidence-based guidelines
- Evaluate and grade AI-generated clinical outputs using structured evaluation rubrics
- Provide detailed written feedback to improve medical reasoning performance
- Interpret diagnostic pathways including imaging, ECGs, and laboratory data in scenario design
- Participate in calibration and onboarding discussions to align evaluation standards
- Ensure consistency and clinical accuracy across cardiovascular subspecialty topics
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology or related subspecialty
- Active and unrestricted medical license in applicable jurisdiction
- Final-year fellows considered based on training stage and certification eligibility
- Strong clinical experience in evidence-based cardiovascular care
- Familiarity with guideline-directed management of cardiovascular conditions
- Ability to produce structured, written clinical reasoning outputs
- Comfort working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
- Preferred: Subspecialty experience in interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, heart failure/transplant, cardiac imaging, or pediatric cardiology
- Preferred: Experience teaching, reviewing, or assessing clinical reasoning or examinations
