Architect – CAD & Construction Documentation Specialist

The work involves developing, reviewing, and validating architectural and engineering deliverables, including floor plans, elevation sets, CAD drawings, schematics, and technical documentation. Success in this role requires precision, technical accuracy, and the ability to apply industry standards consistently across complex documentation packages.
What You'll Do
- Create detailed floor plans based on project specifications and design requirements
- Develop accurate elevation sets and architectural documentation packages
- Produce comprehensive CAD drawings for architectural and engineering applications
- Generate and review GD&T callouts for technical and manufacturing documentation
- Create, annotate, and validate multi-sheet electrical schematics
- Design and assess PCB layouts using industry best practices
- Review technical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with standards
- Resolve technical questions and clarify project requirements through structured collaboration
- Maintain organized multi-document project packages and revision records
- Provide expert feedback to support the development and evaluation of AI-generated technical outputs
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of recent experience in architectural CAD drafting and construction documentation
- Strong proficiency with industry-standard 2D and 3D CAD software
- Experience creating architectural floor plans, elevations, and technical drawing sets
- Ability to generate and interpret GD&T callouts accurately
- Experience developing and reviewing complex electrical schematics
- Knowledge of PCB layout design principles and documentation standards
- Strong understanding of construction documentation workflows and technical drafting practices
- Excellent attention to detail and quality control capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Experience managing large, multi-document technical projects
- Familiarity with multidisciplinary architectural and engineering coordination preferred
- Experience collaborating with distributed or cross-functional project teams preferred
- Exposure to AI-assisted design tools or technical content evaluation workflows preferred
- Professional architectural, engineering, or technical drafting credentials preferred
